Both D. E. Grimwood and Elliot Stone are pseudonyms for one author. His goal is to make a market distinction between the kink level of his stories. While co-hosting the Ink & Ecstasy podcast, he goes by Grim.

Works published under the name D. E. Grimwood will feature a darker theme. There may be bondage, dominance, reluctance or non-consensual elements that make the work take on a much darker tone.

Any work published under the name Elliot Stone will be softer in nature. More focused on building romantic relationships than kinks, though that's not to say kink won't feature in these works.

Either way, the stories put out by Grim will always have the goal of ensuring both the characters and overall story make sense.
